In this section, you will be able to meet all the staff of the Drusian winery. We are the ones who answer the phone and your emails, harvest, control the fermentation, bottle, and ship the wine!
We are colleagues, but even before that, we are friends with the same goal: to give you a high quality product, the result of a lot of passion and love for our work.

FRANCESCO DRUSIAN
Winery owner
Francesco is the founder of the Drusian winery. He has been guiding it with love and passion since 1988 and he personally follows all the work of his employees.
In particular, he cares about the activities in the vineyards, where all starts to produce his Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG sparkling wine.
For his staff members, Francesco is like a father. He welcomes everyone with a smile: with him, you can discuss all the issues related to the development of his company.

MARIKA BERTELLE
Sales Italy and Back Office
Marika has been working faithfully at Drusian for more than twenty years. She knows every corner and detail of the winery. She can do anything, other than… uncorking a bottle of sparkling wine!
After all, she must have a flaw!

BARBARA BRUSTOLIN
Administration and Sales
Sometimes, we wonder if Barbara has superpowers.
If you don’t remember which wine you bought in 2009, she can tell you its type, batch, bottling date, and when you got it!

We admire her boundless memory (and fear it), but above all we love the dedication and precision she puts into everything she is responsible for, from administration to sales.

SOFIA PAGOS
Export Manager
Sofia is responsible for the foreign market: from California to Thailand, passing through the UK, Estonia, and Hong Kong (looking for you…).
She is funny, and her dialectic skills are unbeatable. She likes challenges as much as sandwiches: nothing scares her because, before an unexpected event, she is already thinking about the solution! She manages to combine her job with what she loves the most: traveling!

GIULIO BORNìA
Sales Manager Italy
Giulio, the only man in the office, is luckily surrounded by all women!
With his determination and commitment, he has become essential for the sales force and the customers. He spends a lot of time with them on the phone or he goes and visit them directly. Back from his business trips, he likes to do sports and play music in his spare time. His motto? “There are no problems, only opportunities!”

ELENA TURRIN
Marketing and Communication
“The habit does not make the monk”, they say. Sometimes it is true, but it often says much about a person.
Similarly, a wine label can describe the wine before you taste it. It tells a story and can play an essential role in the consumer purchasing decision. Developing packaging designs is one of Elena’s favorite activities. Like a tailor, she creates custom-made labels, exploring new possibilities in terms of materials, finishes, and communication trends in constant evolution.

ILARIA MILANESE
PR, Social Media Manager and Events
It is not true that, inside a winery, we talk exclusively about wine. Of course, it is the undisputed protagonist, but many other aspects are involved, from the most technical to the creative.
Art and wine have an ancient and deep bond. Together, they give life to a synergistic cultural expression. Making wine is an art, and art has always taken inspiration from this “poetry of the earth” to be expressed through images. This is exactly Ilaria’s job at Drusian: she takes care of the winery through images and words. Her goal is to make the winery known from new points of view, which can also give emotions. She loves photography as much as she loves the heat. A sunny day always puts Ilaria in a good mood, along with the music.

MARIA VIDALLI
Hospitality and Sales
Maria has been working in the world of wine for ten years. For her, wine is not only a pleasure to share with friends but also a passion that she tries to instill in all the people visiting the winery.
At Drusian, she is in charge of hospitality and sales. She loves our land, where she lives in close contact with nature, the authentic generator of goodness and beauty.

MARCO SPIRONELLI
Winemaker
After his studies in “Viticultural and Oenological Sciences and Technologies”, Marco became a winemaker at Drusian.
He follows the grapes all over the production process: from the moment they are unloaded from the truck till they become sparkling wine ready to be bottled. During the harvest, he is under pressure: he also personally carries out the analyses necessary to control the quality of the wine, which is essential for the success of our product.
He is passionate about good food. In his free time, he goes on porcini mushroom hunting in the mountains. He also likes to discover new traditional dishes to pair with our Valdobbiadene DOCG or other Italian wines that he likes to try.

ANDREA GALLINA
Production and Logistics Manager
At Drusian, Andrea is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing bottling activities as well as logistics.
Precise and meticulous, he follows directly the maintenance of the production plant. He also manages the personnel working in the facility. He would like to solve problems as fast as he whizzes around with his beloved motorcycle! He is very efficient, and he does it in the shortest possible time! Is he a superhero? Probably not, but he is very dedicated to his job and always ready to face new challenges.

GABRIELE MEROTTO
Bottling plant operator
Do you know Guido, the forklift from the Cars movie? Gabriele is just like him!
Working at Drusian for a very long time, he likes to whizz around with his forklift to load and unload the pallets at the winery. He dreams of making an authentic pit stop one day, but not the one at the Ferrari race… he thinks about retirement!
He is responsible for the packaging machines. When it’s harvest time, he helps manage the grapes unloading. He cannot stay still; he is always ready to help his colleagues in case of need. At the end of the shift, sometimes he goes out with them and enjoys a good aperitif!

12.
GIOVANNI POZZOBON
Bottling plant operator
Our Jonny, as we like to call him, takes care of the most operational part of the winery: he follows the entire bottling process, from the control of the machine to the preparation of the materials necessary for the operation.
An ex-scout leader, he took his job at Drusian as an opportunity to appreciate different facets of his duties, a bit like when he and his boys, with technical and methodological competence, found new ways of discerning the beauty and the good in life.

MASSIMO TOFFOLETTO
Warehouseman
Massimo has been working as a warehouse worker for 30 years. He had the opportunity to know different companies, and now he is the manager of our warehouse, located separately from the winery.
He manages cartons, shipping bills, and bottles, prepares orders to be shipped, and loads/unloads pallets. As an ex-football player, he treats the warehouse as a pitch: he is aware of the space available and knows how to move in it, even with the help of the forklift.
In addition, he is passionate about wine: he likes to try new pairings with food, especially in good company!

TEAM VIGNA
Vineyard managers team
Producing wine, as we all know, starts from the land, and who better than our team of powerful guys can take care of it?
Denis, Enrico, and Andrea are the ones who carry out all the manual work necessary for the vineyard maintenance.

For them, cutting the grass on our steep slopes is kid’s play! Bosjan, instead, is the “Ultimate Tractor Driver”: who would have thought he could drive the tractor so well on our impervious hills!?
Finally, there are Danny and Alessandro, long-time tractor drivers and handymen at Drusian: they take care of all the tasks related to the vineyards and the countryside. Alessandro is also the team leader and spokesperson of the group. He has everything under control: with great attention and dedication, he coordinates the activities of each member of the team. Teamwork is great because it helps create harmony among members. In fact, they always try to help each other as a real team!
