Francesco Drusian presents “le RIVE, la nostra FIEREZZA” collection
It is a three-year project that involves the realization of three different annual productions of selected “Rive” in limited edition. It was created to enclose unique products from various hilly areas (“Rive” in our dialect), all owned by Francesco, enriched by his technical knowledge and by a second fermentation in stainless steel that touches 140 days.
PRIDE, on the other hand, wants to indicate the awareness and strength of one’s work. Proud is the one who recognizes his goal and what he has already managed to accomplish. Proud is those who are strong in spirit, just like Francesco Drusian.
The first product, just released on the market, is the Valdobbiadene DOCG Rive di Collalto, a Sparkling Wine in Brut version with 100% Glera grapes from the vineyards of the Collalto area, near Conegliano (TV). These are located in the saddle of the hill in a ventilated place, always exposed to direct sunlight and with an important temperature range between day and night and therefore allow to give life to a structured wine, which on the palate is distinguished by a long flavor and minerality.
The label, with warm colors, takes up the shapes and harmony of the vineyards. The bottles of the next products in 2023 and 2024, will have the same label, but of different colors according to the area that will be chosen for the harvest of the grapes that will form the products.
