Cartizze represents the region’s top wine denomination or “Grand Cru” of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Boasting a distinct micro-climate and a unique soil, the Cartizze hill occupies about 107 hectares (267 acres). Here grapes have a special aromatic profile, rich and intense.
The base wine undergoes secondary fermentation in stainless steel tanks, according to the Martinotti Charmat method. The prise de mousse occurs slowly and at a controlled temperature of 15-16°C. The result is a sparkling wine with an elegant and persistent perlage.
Our Cartizze makes an excellent accompaniment to desserts. Also matches admirably with shellfish and mild spicy Asian dishes.
